Peter French is the Driver Representative for the Gold Arts Magnificent Sevens Series.

Peter qualified as an Automotive Technical Engineer in the early 1970's and worked in the motor trade and in the industry as a Technical Engineer until 2001. He then started work for a Lift Truck Manufacturer as an engineer where he is still employed today as a Senior Engineer.

Motorsport has been a hobby of his since the late 1960's, starting with building and maintaining rally cars until 1980 when he took a short break of six years to spend time with his young children. A return to motorsport in 1986 saw him building and maintaining circuit cars. In 1995 he came across Caterham's which was the start of a long term ongoing love affair with Sevens. In the late 2000's he approached the CSCC to see if they would run a series for Seven type cars which they agreed to, hence the CSCC's Gold Arts Magnificent Sevens race series was born, where Peter is both the driver representative and a competitor in the series.
