2025 Calendar

Please find below the provisional CSCC 2025 calendar. This lists all the dates the club is running, plus a number of 'out-rounds'. By late November we will have calculated which categories will race where and on what day. Please be patient with us until then. https://www.classicsportscarclub.co.uk/race-calendar

Putting the venues aside for a moment, you will notice more two-day race meetings and a greater total number of racing days. When building a calendar, a crystal ball would be useful, with decisions made based on the year just gone and the best guess of what might happen in the coming year. Thanks to your support in 2024, the club has had a successful year and has therefore taken the decision to book you more track time, with the potential for less combined races. This is in your hands however, your continued support and registrations into 2025 will allow us to tweak the timetables to suit how many of you sign up.

New for 2025: Zolder, Belgium We have a total of three, no noise limit races, for the Verum Builders Open Series. This means the races are open to all CSCC cars, running on Motorsport UK list treaded tyres. Zolder is a former F1 circuit, last used for a Grand Prix back in 1984. It has a natural flow, interspersed by chicanes, similar to Oulton Park. The event features the Dutch Supercar Challenge.

Making a return for 2025: Cadwell Park

We are hopeful for pleasant weather on our return to this pretty circuit, in May. Some say it's a long drive from the far south, whilst that's true, it's a proper drivers circuit. Overtaking is possible here and at almost 2.2 miles, it's a good length, don't dismiss it as 'a bikers track'.

Also back for 2025: Castle Combe

We are happy to be back here, with two days on our local Wiltshire circuit. In 2022 we endured record temperatures, so whilst we wouldn't want that level of heat again, August should be pleasant.

Brands Hatch Grand Prix Take 2 After the disappointment of the cancelled race this year, the WOSP New Millennium and Turbo Tin Tops get to have another try at racing on the glorious Brands Grand Prix track. This time, we won't be last race and we'll be part of MSV's popular Super Touring event.

Smaller changes

After a break of six years, we'll be starting the season on the International configuration at Silverstone. Firstly, a track day here, to blow away the cobwebs, then onto a weekend race meeting. Just for a change and the slightly higher grid capacity, we'll add the Grand Prix loop to Donington. We are back to two full days at one of the friendliest and certainly the fastest circuits around, Thruxton.

What's missing?

Well, we can't go to every circuit, but we do try to offer something different, on rotation each season. Spa Francorchamps was due to return to its former, summer home, in fact we built the calendar around this. Then, just a handful of weeks ago we heard the sad news that it would be in April again. Concerns, about weather and date clashes with UK circuits we had given our word to, mean that we will regrettably miss the Summer Classic for 2025, but look to return in '26. The CSCC classic races, as part of the Spa Six Hours will again feature, in September. We had small grids, but the drivers who went there seemed to have a memorable time. Anglesey has featured in every non-Covid season since 2019. Fabulous as it is, it's good to mix things up a bit.

Silverstone GP was clearly popular with you this season, but comes at a cost, that requires combined grids. For 2025 we will be racing over the total GP track, albeit 3 months apart (International + National = GP)!

Provisional From the clubs point of view, the calendar is now set, but always remains provisional. There may be external factors that force a date, or venue change at any time, if that happens we will of course update you.

Regulations and Registrations Any regulation changes will be announced before registrations open, by early December.
