Our draft 2025 championship regulations are now available to view, with permits applied for.
In case you missed it, we released our series regulations a week ago, with more significant changes listed in this article: https://www.classicsportscarclub.co.uk/post/series-registrations-and-draft-2025-regulations-now-available
When you are ready, you may register your car(s) for as many series and championships as you would like, all for the one fee of £99 (this includes Morgan Challenge). At the same time, you may renew your membership at £49.
Championship Changes
You will see a large amount of yellow highlighted additions and red regulation removals, due to Motorsport UK's new National Competition Rules (NCR), replacing the old Yearbook.
There are minimal changes proposed for our Lackford Engineering Midget & Sprite Challenge, MG Trophy and Jaguar Championship.
Morgan Challenge
Our close friends at the Morgan Challenge have also released draft regulations, again, with relatively small changes, in this their 40th anniversary year. Morgan drivers have a reduction in the cost of their registration fee, paying the same as all other CSCC drivers, with membership at £49 per driver and £99 for the car.
Ramair BMW Championship
As has already been announced, the Ramair BMW Championship will enjoy stand-alone races throughout 2025. For the avoidance of doubt, this means they won't be sharing any races with the Verum Builders Open Series, Liqui Moly Slicks, or any other category for that matter.
With grateful input from Wayne at Bad Boy Tuning, Kevin from SRR and a number of drivers, the existing MINI classes have had an overhaul. There are now three classes that a modern, forced-induction MINI may race in, depending on specification. Drivers gave us feedback on grids, tyres and ballast. We have listened and tried to keep things simple, whilst avoiding too many restrictions, so that drivers may also take part in the Fox Transport Turbo Tin Tops (half price as a 2nd race) and remain competitive.
Any list 1A/B/C tyre may be used in classes R53 and R56, a reverse grid for these MINI's in race 2, ballast and more aims to keep things interesting and balanced.
Those more modified 'Open' or 2 litre MINI's are more than welcomed, competing in a class with BMW's, where they will enjoy more choice and freedom, with regards to power and tyres.
Final details, such as a boost level cap in class R56 will be confirmed in January. If you have any suggestions in the meantime, please email info@classicsportscarclub.co.uk and/or Driver Representative jason.west@underscoregroup.com.
