CSCC 2023 Detailed Calendar

Following our October reveal of our main calendar dates, we can now share the breakdown of which series are racing on which days.

Not all series will race on all days and at each venue. We have partly done this to minimise combined grids. We try to offer some circuits on rotation, for example Oulton Park. Drivers have indicated their preferences of 'smaller' circuits, in their driver surveys, this has helped us fine-tune the calendar to suit each series.

Our Silverstone GP meeting in February, will start things off, at a bargain entry price of just £395.

At Snetterton in March, we have our CSCC run, exclusive test day, as per usual. All series will compete at the following Snetterton race meeting, with the JMC Racing Special Saloons & Modsports enjoying a single 15 minute race, with the option of taking part in the 40 minute Liqui Moly Slicks race too.

Our April meeting at Thruxton is going to be the circuit's only classic race event in 2023. The Gold Arts Magnificent Sevens miss this round, after a small grid in 2022, but are back the following week at the MGCC Oulton Park round, where the CSCC will be there to support you.

The Adams & Page Swinging 60s and Mintex Classic K, have their own grids, at the HSCC Silverstone GP, on a sunny Sunday in May, fully supported by the CSCC, as you'd expect.

Following the busy Brands Hatch Indy foray in June, we come to what we hope will be the centre piece of our 2023 calendar, a special weekend event at Anglesey. To our slight frustration, all we can continue to say, is that it's planned to be 'special' as we are still waiting on local planning permission to run the event. More on this to follow, but please add this date to your diaries.

After a big splash at the Gold Cup in 2022, the JMC Racing Special Saloons & Modsports have been invited back. All series (except the Specials) race at Donington a week later, in early August, with traditionally our largest grids of the year.

At this point, our series split, either racing at Mallory Park, Oulton Park and/or Castle Combe. It's hard to compare these circuits, but with both Mallory and Oulton maxed-out on dates, this is the best way of offering you stand-alone races, something you have indicated is important. If your series isn't scheduled to race at one of these circuits, you are of course welcome to take part in another series, if your car is eligible.

Our Gold Arts Magnificent Sevens finish their UK season with a second visit to Donington Park, in early September. Whilst the timing isn't perfect, an invitation to compete at a 100% Sevens event, was too good to refuse.

Croft is our last UK round, back where it all started 20 years ago. What a great, all-weather driver's circuit, well worth the drive to get there, wherever you live in the country.

As you've known about for the last 12 months, we are returning to the U.S. at the end of the year. Meetings and reconnaissance took place earlier this month, more on this in the new year. Every single driver and car is eligible to take part. Those of you with the time and finances to take part, will enjoy an experience unlike anything in Europe.

We are working hard on final tweaks to the Series regulations and will open registrations and memberships in December.

SS&Modsports. I won't be going all the way from South Somerset to Norfolk for 1x15min race , CSCC already know many Racecars do not have big enough fuel tanks for 40mins, actually the driver cannot do 40mins in my very physically demanding racer!! Ian Hall
