For the third successive year, the JMC Racing Special Saloons & Modsports are back, at the Oulton Park Gold Cup, on 27th and 28th July. Entries open at Midday, tomorrow, Tuesday 4th June.
This event marks the return of the series' usual format, of a 20-minute qualifying session and 15-minute race on Saturday, with a 15-minute race on the Sunday. This is a stand-alone grid for the JMC Racing Special Saloons & Modsports Series. We know that many of our Advantage Motorsport Future Classics drivers enjoyed the experience of racing with you at the past couple of rounds and most are eligible to register their car as a Special Saloon.
Last year we enjoyed some excellent, clean racing, in front of a good-sized crowd and large displays of static cars. Perhaps the only negative was the rather challenging paddock parking (others parked in our allocated tarmac area). Feedback was given to both event organiser HSCC and the circuit, with an aim to prevent this happening again in 2024.
