We are pleased to announce that for 2024 and beyond, the championship lives on, to become the ‘CSCC MG Trophy Championship’ .
With the recent announcement that the MG Car Club have taken the decision to stop hosting any more race meetings, the CSCC welcomes its drivers and co-ordinator, Pete Macwaters to its ranks. The MG Trophy championship, for MG ZR hatchbacks, morphed out of the MGF Cup and has run under the Trophy title since 2004, launching the careers of several drivers including Jack Goff, who went on to do 9 seasons in the BTCC.
Our new members will enjoy the friendly paddock, opportunity to drive new circuits and are also eligible to race within our ever-popular Co-ordSport Tin Tops Series, as a half-priced, 2nd race entry.
2024 Calendar
Many of you are asking about our dates for next year. Our provisional calendar is well advanced, but we are aware that some movement is likely, as WSB and BSB decide their dates. Please be patient, we will announce our calendar as soon as we are able, it's worth the wait.
