The last couple of years have seen a lot of changes in the “tyre world”.
General Overview
Avon Tyres closed down a year ago and in November we were informed by TOYO that they were closing all motorsport operations in Europe and all Motorsport staff would be made redundant, with their employment ceasing on 31st December 2024.
This is already causing problems in the supply chain. TOYO have not issued new terms to existing dealers, and they are not accepting any orders at this time for the 2025 season. Magnificent Sevens: Adams & Page have plenty of 13” R888R tyres available in 185/60/13 and 205/60/13.
Swinging 60s
In 2025 Adams & Page will continue to focus on the YOKOHAMA range of tyres and expect to have good stocks of tyres for the forthcoming season. Yokohama have agreed to make a large batch of the 175/60/13 A050 tyre exclusively for Adams & Page in January 2025, with stock arriving in March 2025. This means we will have sufficient stocks for the whole of the 2025 season. See Adams & Page Swinging 60s regulations for permitted tyres.
MG Trophy We have good stocks of the 195/50/16 A052 tyre that you are all using. There are no stocks available at present of the TOYO R888R in that size.
All Adams & Page will be at most rounds of the CSCC 2025 calendar and look forward to supporting all of you once again.
