Racing Abroad
Spa 3 Hours 7th/8th July 2023
The Spa 3 Hours first took place in 2016 and following its success will feature for the seventh year running in 2023, following the cancellation of the event in 2020. The 3 Hours takes place on the Saturday evening of the Spa Summer Classic event, racing to dusk. There are various categories and classes for cars conforming to FIA Appendix K, up to 1976. The 3 Hours consists of a 45 minute qualifying session and a 3 Hour endurance race for 2 or 3 drivers. For up to date information, please see the Spa 3 Hours website.

Daytona and Sebring - November/December 2023

The CSCC has a history of taking its members abroad.
​
At the end of 2023, to coincide with the club's 20th anniversary we will take our members to race at Daytona and Sebring. This will be the third time we have taken our members to race at this famous US venue. A trip to Daytona Speedway in Florida to take part in the Anglo-American Challege was the first opportunity for members to race abroad in November 2007. Following this success, a 2nd trip to the legendary Daytona Speedway came at the end of the 2009 season, giving many members the racing experience of a lifetime.

We have also been fortunate enough to race at the historic Nurburgring in Germany from 2007 through to 2011.
Since 2007 we have been making an annual trip to Spa Francorchamps in Belgium. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, this event did not take place in 2020 or 2021.
2018 saw the club round off the season with a visit to Magny-Cours to race around the French ex F1 circuit and in 2019, alongside our annual visit to Spa, we made the trip to Dijon-Prenois in France.
The highlight of the 2020 and 2022 seasons were planned races at the Le-mans Bugatti circuit, but sadly this did not go ahead, again, due to the Coronavirus outbreak and noise/political reasons. The Club still intends to race at this historic circuit in 2024.
